Retirement Home Support Discussion Forum

The Retirement Home (RH) Support Discussion Forum provides an opportunity for RH medical directors to connect with Dr. Jarred Rosenberg, Geriatrician at MGH for a Q&A opportunity as well as the Retirement Home Regulatory Authority (RHRA), Ontario Health Home and Community Care and TPH for updates. Resources for Individuals Working at Retirement Homes

• Mobile Enhancement Support Team (MEST)

  The Toronto Central LHIN has created the MEST to assist retirement homes with a COVID-19 outbreak to augment staffing needs. This is a last resort emergency staffing stabilization program and does not replace a home’s responsibility to up staff using an agency or other methods. An application form is required to be sent to the LHIN. Please contact Selam or Miranda for further information regarding MEST in Toronto Central LHIN. You may contact Michelle for Central LHIN and Emily for Central East LHIN.
