While Ontario public health guidelines have not given new direction yet to expand screening patients with a travel history beyond China prior to coming to clinic, you might want to recommend delaying non-urgent visits to clinic for 2 weeks for patients who have just returned from: ITALY, IRAN, CAMBODIA, CHINA, JAPAN, TAIWAN, MACAU, HONG KONG, MALAYSIA, KOREA, THAILAND, or SINGAPORE.

New case definition 27/01/20 when triaging patients on the phone in question #1:

“Have you travelled to China in the last 14 days, or been in close contact with someone with a flu-like illness who has travelled to China in the last 14 days, or been in close contact with someone with suspected Coronavirus?”
