Collaboration within the EasT-FPN

Background

The EasT-FPN supports collaboration and communication within the family practice community of East Toronto at large. To facilitate this, a number of virtual collaboration tools have been adopted.

When multiple tools are being used, a common challenge is knowing what tool should be used to do what, and when - it gets confusing! Here’s a short summary of common scenarios, and how best to handle them!

How should I provide colleagues with a status update?

Add your update into the Trello card for your project. If you need access to Trello, submit the form below.

What sort of updates should I be adding to Trello?

On an ongoing basis, there’s no firm rule; it’s like charting. It’s a bit of an art what exactly to include. Try to include enough so that when you’re on vacation, and someone needs to take over, there’s enough information documented so that they can effectively do so.

In addition to these ongoing updates that you add at your discretion, it’s requested that you add an update 2 business before each EasT-FPN board meeting so that everyone has a chance to get caught up.

How do I stay up to date on a project?

Watch” the corresponding Trello card. You will be automatically sent updates whenever there are changes. Consider asking the MRP on the project to add an update!

How (and when) do I update the public website?

Try to keep the public eastfpn.org website up to date for the community at large. Whenever you want to make a change, just submit the form below!
