EasT-FPN Board Recruitment 2023 - Call for Nominations

  • East Toronto Family Practice Network (EasT-FPN) is seeking members to join the EasT-FPN Board of Directors, and participate in planning and implementing programs that meet the interests of the EasT-FPN members and East Toronto communities.

Online Appointment Booking (OAB) Funding

  • OAB solutions are designed to reduce the administrative workload around appointment bookings, by enabling patients to electronically book appointments with their family doctors and nurse practitioners and receive automated confirmations and reminders

  • Ontario Health has approved 1-year of funding to help primary care practices adopt OAB; providers who have not activated OAB in their practice are eligible for funding

  • Clinics will receive up to $600 - $1,000 per provider; this amount includes funding to cover costs for the OAB technology licenses; a portion of this funding can also be used for dedicated support for implementation and change management (particularly for solo practitioners or small groups who may need additional support)

You're Invited: Toronto Regional Arthroplasty Collaborative (TRAC) Webinar *Eligible for CME Credits*

  • Are you a Primary Care Provider? Join this webinar on May 23th from 6:30-7:30pm for detailed information on this new model and referral options to ensure your patients receive faster access to surgery. 

  • The TRAC is a partnership between hospitals to provide weekend OR availability at Sunnybrook's Holland Centre to reduce wait times for hip and knee surgery.
